BCM 14.5 midlength or Noveske Afgan midlength SS Basically do i get stainless or get chrome lined BCM barrel. I will shoot about 2k rounds through it per year and is a range/ defense gun for training purposes. How many rounds can i put through a noveske SS barrel?
some people have said that SS is only good for 1000 to 1500 rounds i find that hard to belive.
also i am concerned about weight wich is lighter i would assume the chrome lined but not sure.
noveske afgan low pro vs BCM 14.5 midlength with DD rail both would have fsc556
bcm total cost 980.00 with shipping and rvg
noveske total cost 1220.00 with military discount.
does BCM do mil. discount?

You should seriously reject ANYTHING you hear from the person that told you a SS barrel is only good for 1,500rds. You do realize that the only reason Military rifles lean towards chrome lining is because they can be subject to infrequent cleaning and usage of corrosive ammo. A SS barrel will last you a LONG time and stay accurate to boot. Get the barrel you most want and don't worry about it. Weight will be better determined by the barrels profile rather than just construction.
