There is no way to do match grade 200+ grain ammo for 50 cents a shot. The bullet has 4x the mass of 5.56mm. I bet even if Wolf loaded it it would be more than that. Very cheap subsonic is 22lr or 9mm.

They don't give away 220 grain Sierra MatchKings. 36 cents each on Midway:

It probably costs more to make this than 308 with a 175 grain MatchKing, and that ammo sells for $32 a box.
