hum.. I don't quite get it 6k for a bolt gun to look tacti-cool like an AR... what not just build an ar for 1k ?
it's still really quiet, close to same size and spit out 30 rds as fast as you can pull the trigger..

I prefer an integral to look a little more low-profile.

I dont have a clue what you just said but i laughed anyway :)

the integral should be constructed so the barrel is legally over 16" to reduce taxation and to make it available in states that do not allow SBR's. 77/44's seem to work well this way.

If you're gonna pay mad loots for pieces of paper they better have the King on 'em!!!

Why not use the Cyclone for the last part of the clip? Clearly quieter.

sorry to say , but no it's not... i shot 30 rounds that day and the SAS was quieter to my ear.
my wife was there too and she agreed.
don't get me wrong, I love my cyclone too, but i liked the sound of the arbiter better, not to mention it's almost half the weight... and it was the same price.

i'd be more than happy to meet someone with the gear to meter them both...

robert, could a less expensive version be made utilizing injection molding for the stock and a barrel nut for an AR15 so the end user can select what rail and length they want for the fore end. I dont think the 300BLK cartridge really needs a stock as strong as what is used for a .338 laupua.

After a revisit you are correct. Weight savings cannot be scoffed at either!

As soon as a few patent pendings go thru, we will have a pic up. Shouldnt be too long. I learned my lesson about not protecting designs.

There is no need to wait as you can show it even before filing the patent. You have up to a year to file the patent after showing it.

Robert,

Do Remington have any plans to produce an integral that is more low-key, ie produce this with a more conventional stock and no fore-rail?

That, I think, would be great.

AAC produces it, not Remington. We will decide on configurations after the completion of further R&D efforts.

We will keep you guys in the loop.

Appreciate that! So does Remington ship you the RACS chassis for this configuration or are you machining those in house as well?

The real question is this,
Are you going to use a stock 700 action, or are you going to take the time to do it right and blue print the action, lap the lugs, polish the raceways, face the barrel and all of that?
Even if you are using a custom shop action, or a "Tactical" action, you would be doing a huge disservice to your customers by not doing these things, as the price suggests that they will be done.
I think if it is done propperly, it will have some serious potential.

It would be a custom action and I would think we would spec it the same as an XM-2010. More specifically, it would be made and inspected to our drawing.

Very refreshing to hear! I have had to rework several 700's that came from the "custom shop".
