I have YHM Diamond rails already.
Will get the can made to suit that handguard and just legal length for our rules here

The Spike's Tactical BAR, at 1.79" ID, was designed to be used in conjunction with suppressors.

I know this is an old thread but it popped up in a Google search so I thought I would update it.

I too was in the market for a large ID free floating handguard for my SBR. Instead of a suppressor, my current need is to fit over a pistol length pigtail gas tube I was given. I was looking for a handguard in the 7" or 8" length. I found the Aero Precision Quantum M-LOK Handguard. It is listed as 1.78" ID. The best thing is it costs less than $80.

My other handguard which has a large ID was from a Colt Competition CRX rifle (It was NIB and at a great price). My micrometer says the ID = 1.799". I am thinking of cutting it down to 8" for use with one of my SBR uppers.

Fits over an OSS 7.62 suppressor, which is a large diameter suppressor. IIRC 1.75 for the suppressor.
