Model-7 rifles will ship soon and we are now taking orders from dealers/distributors.
The Model-7 in 300 AAC BLACKOUT is designed by AAC (but with access to Remington drawings), assembled at AAC by a small team of people, and shipped from AAC. The barrel is nitrided and made to AAC specifications, but not made by Remington.

Weather-proof synthetic stock with AAC adjustable cheek piece.
Muzzle threaded 5/8-24 for compatibility with sound suppressors. AAC thread protector included.
Carefully Assembled in small batches at AAC on Remington-supplied custom actions.
X-Mark Pro adjustable trigger.
AAC Picatinny scope mount pre-installed using the same beefier Torx screws as used in the US Army's M24 sniper rifle.
Nitrided light weight 1/8 twist 16" barrel, for extreme hardness and long life.
MSRP is $899.

Was wondering when they were available. I've been checking with RSR Group for a while.

Re: Model-7 rifles
If you are a dealer you can call AAC and order one today. If you want to get it from a distributor, I can later post which distributors will have them.

Will do. We're an FFL so I'll see about getting my FFL to AAC. Thanks!silencertalk wrote:If you are a dealer you can call AAC and order one today. If you want to get it from a distributor, I can later post which distributors will have them.

Re: Model-7 rifles
What is the possibility of Rem/AAC selling this rifle with a floorplate that takes AICS mags?
I want to shoot more and reload less.
Looks good!

Re: Model-7 rifles
I would rather it be available for Pmags than AICS. The BLK will fit in AR mags, so why not go the cheapest and most plentiful route?

Re: Model-7 rifles
If we did that, it would not be within the next year or two.tmix wrote:What is the possibility of Rem/AAC selling this rifle with a floorplate that takes AICS mags?

Re: Model-7 rifles
AR mags are not feasible for use in a 700 action because of the way the mag feeds from left/right positions, spring tension, and clearance issues.RavenArmament wrote:I would rather it be available for Pmags than AICS. The BLK will fit in AR mags, so why not go the cheapest and most plentiful route?
If that were a viable option, someone would have done it by now and made a s--t-ton of money.

Re: Model-7 rifles
Would love to see a full out review with the following from someone who has the equipment and knowhow:
1. Accuracy test using different loads and different ranges. (100 - 500 yrds)
2. Quiet Test
3. Details on construction.

It's a Remington.sakerfalcon wrote:Would love to see a full out review with the following from someone who has the equipment and knowhow:

Subsonic will drop more than supersonic. Inside 100y either way, you'll need a knife to gut your deer.
Has little to do with the gun and more to do with the rifle and ammunition.2. Quiet Test
Remington Model 7 chambered in 300 BLK threaded 5/8-24. That information alone convince you to buy. If you question Remington 7 rifles, you are hiking up a steep hill.3. Details on construction.

Re: Model-7 rifles
We order custom-made actions and non-Remington barrels made to our specs, and then assemble them at AAC.
