$6K AR15
Re: $6K AR15
What would be the cost of assembing all of the parts yourself?
$1,600? • Factory New POF-USA P-415-18-P12X-223 SPR / S.P.W.S Rifle
$1,600? • TA55 5.5x50 Trijicon ACOG® Red Chevron Dual Illumination
$100? •GG&G Accucam Quick Detach ACOG Mounting Base
$100? •Anti-Reflection Device for 5.5x50 ACOG scopes
$150? •MagPul PRS™ Precision-Adjustable Buttstock
$150? • Troy Ind Hk Style Folding Battle Sights
$90? •2-30 Rnd Magpul Maglevel Pmag Mags
$100? •1-100 Rnd C-Mag Drum Magazine
$30? •1-20 Rnd Target Magpul Pmag
$80? •GG&G Extreme Duty Bipod
$100? •MagPul MIAD Grip Kit
$100? •Condor Range Case
$10? • Operators Manual
$4,210?
So they are charging a $2,000 premium for selecting all elements of the kit "for you" as if it is the best of everything. Of course the members on here know that is certainly not the case, however...
If someone has neither the time nor the inclination to assemble all of the elements of such a weapon yet feels they "need" such a system after watching Mad Max, Thunderdome.... well, I can see where some of my clients would find that offer attractive. If someone's time is worth $100 an hour... I am just saying for someone that makes sense.
Imagine a new buyer... picks up their first DPMS rifle at Gander Mountain.... discovers that when he went to order a magpul stock online he finds he needs to know if his buffer tube is mil-spec or not. What in the world is MILSPEC? That is quite frustrating. I can see where someone would buy this.

Lmao!!!!! Felix from avguns in Sarasota Florida!!! I knew it before I even clicked the link. He overcharges for everything. I would avoid him like the plague. He is a real asshole. Custom.... Ha ha ha, his favorite word. Throw a vertical foregrip on an ar-15, it then becomes custom and worth nearly double in his eyes.

Re: $6K AR15
these guys seems like a bunch of mall ninjas.
unfortunately, some trust fund baby will pick this thing up having no clue that with a little research and even less knowledge, he could purchase one of those POS, sorry, I mean, POF carbines and outfit it himself and STILL have enough money to buy an HK45 and a Ti Rant.
oh well....such is life.
scumbags. it's a shame too b/c the majority of gun guys are fair, honest, good natured people.
"CUSTOM"....hahaha...custom my ass.

$30? •1-20 Rnd Target Magpul Pmag
$100? •MagPul MIAD Grip Kit
Even at MSRP, should be $17.95x2, $13.95, and $35.95

Re: $6K AR15
looks like someone bought it. Does anyone know the name of the "assembler"? I'd like to put them in my "avoid at all cost" list.
