I am looking to buy a 9mm CAN to compliment several pistols and one 9mm JRCarbine. I am also in the market for a 300 whisper or Blackout. I would like to find a CAN that I can use on the 300 until I can finance another Silencer fit for it.
Can I use the 9mm CAN on the 300 safely?
if so..
Sub-sonic and super-sonic?
Anyone with first hand experience shooting a 9mm CAN on the 300 have any input on sound supression efficacy?
Thanks

Re: 9mm can on 300 whisper
There is no 9mm can aside from the Liberty Mystic that will handle full power supersonic cans. The other cans are rated for subsonic only.cytotoxictcell wrote:I am looking to buy a 9mm CAN to compliment several pistols and one 9mm JRCarbine. Thanks bud. Any input as to whether or not the 9 mm CAN can suppress sub sonic 300 well enough?

Octane and TiRant are excellent choices for that purposes but a dedicated 30 cal can would be more ideal.cytotoxictcell wrote:Looking to use it hunting without ears.

I just checked out the two silencers. Pretty awesome to find video of sound tests of the Octane on a 9mm and a 300 blackout. Thanks.
