Just Got a Remington R1 Threaded Barrel

Post by FB3 »

Recently got this from my dealer and was able to strip it clean and lube the other day. I have several Colts and Dan Wessons and have had several semi customs, and I feel that this compares nicely to the Colts and not far from the Dan Wessons. Very well fit and finished. The trigger on mine is quite nice and overall I am very happy with it. However, due to nagging problems from hand surgery I cannot shoot for a while. Very frustrating.

Anyway, for the money I think that these are just fantastic pistols. I also see that AAC is coming out with their model of this with a blackened barrel, VZ grips and AAC logos on the slide. I like mine like it is.

Love mine. It's my first 1911 so I don't really have anything to compare it to though. I added the pearce finger grooves and WC magwell. Also I went with the flush piston for the TiRant.
