Threaded Spacer Question

Post by Vetman »

I have a Ruger 10/22 that came threaded from the factory. I understand that I need a spacer to shorten the length of the threads before I use a suppressor.

I have bought a Spectre II and I am playing the waiting game. Does anyone make a stainless steel spacer? I think I need a 0.2 wide spacer, but I would really like to buy a threaded stainless spacer.

If no one makes a stainless, threaded spacer what is the best spacer to buy?

I think Gemtech and Silencerco sell spacers.

Also, I think it depends on what suppressor you have. IIRC some are designed to accommodate long threads.
