I recently got my license and started carrying my glock 27. I carry iwb with a kydex galco holster. I'm a guy who always wears a belt with a belt buckle. I looked, with no success, for a more rigid belt. One designed for carry. I haven't found one designed for a buckle. Any suggestions?

In my limited experience rarely does a belt by itself provide all the support for a holster, especially IWB. What problem are you experiencing that your existing belts do not provide the required support when properly tightened?

I have a few of Galco gun belts for CCW that are far more rigid than normal store sold belts, and I am very happy with them. The dress belts also look good. Lot's of places sell Galco products and probably at better prices than the Galco website. Avoid the "natural leather" finish which allows you to color it yourself (I bought one of those and it isn't as rigid as other Galco gun belts)

Here's another place that makes thick, rigid leather gun belts (all the ones saying "chicago screws" allow swapping to your own buckle). I am looking at the place below for myself too because of the greater selection possibilities, but haven't purchased from them yet.

Edited to add: I checked my Galco gun belts and they all have "chicago screws" too, allowing a person to use a dime or big screwdriver and take apart the two rivets and change the buckle in about 2 minutes.

I don't feel like my current belt provides enough support. It sags unless I tighten it an uncomfortable amount. I've seen some belts in sporting goods stores which are designed for carry. I just hadn't seen one with a removable buckle.

I find a wider belt sags less even if it's not appreciably thicker.

I'm a fan of the Aker B21 belts. They have plastic sandwiched between the leather from forward point of hip to forward point of hip around the rear to make for a very stiff belt that isn't bulky. The buckle can be removed via snaps on the belt so you can replace the buckle with anything you wish.

My first Aker lasted me almost 20 years. Recently replaced it and out of the box I could tell that the new one isn't going to be as rugged as the old one, but it's a good belt nevertheless.

Check out police supply sites. The inner belts that fit through the belt loops, and are designed to hold a duty belt with "keepers" are pretty hard form and won't sag.

I use one with a velcro securing system, for general wear with jeans.
