In comparing my new M&P C.O.R.E. 9mm barrel and an older factory threaded M&P 9mm barrel, it appears the factory threaded has a 16" twist, and my new CORE has a 10" twist.

I'm thinking this will not do much to help me stabilize 147gr 9mm ammo for suppressed use.

Has anyone found a solution from S&W?

I can't offer any advice, but I'm in the same market. This thread is relevant to my interests.
