Beretta 92A1, Octane 9 HD 2, Tri-lug mount

I searched but could not find this specifically, or at least the information eluded me...
Am looking to suppress a Beretta 92A1 with a Octane 9. The idea is to utilize a tri-lug adapter and mount. The reason I want to do this is I will also be using the Octane 9 on a 300 blackout upper that will also use a tri-lug, this way I can swap the suppressor between the rifle an B92 without having to change out the piston/mount on the can.
Here's the question, as the Beretta's barrel is not fixed, yet does not move up/down (but straight back and fourth), will a tri-lug mounted suppressor cycle or will it be a single shot pistol? I have heard both, that the Beretta 92 does AND does not work without a booster attached to the suppressor, anyone have hands on experience with this? Any help will be very appreciated
Thanks,
