Beretta 92A1, Octane 9 HD 2, Tri-lug mount

I searched but could not find this specifically, or at least the information eluded me...
Am looking to suppress a Beretta 92A1 with a Octane 9. The idea is to utilize a tri-lug adapter and mount. The reason I want to do this is I will also be using the Octane 9 on a 300 blackout upper that will also use a tri-lug, this way I can swap the suppressor between the rifle an B92 without having to change out the piston/mount on the can.
Here's the question, as the Beretta's barrel is not fixed, yet does not move up/down (but straight back and fourth), will a tri-lug mounted suppressor cycle or will it be a single shot pistol? I have heard both, that the Beretta 92 does AND does not work without a booster attached to the suppressor, anyone have hands on experience with this? Any help will be very appreciated
Thanks,

Some cans will cycle un-boostered on a Beretta 92. The straight-back short-recoil operation of the 92 is more forgiving than the tilting-barrel Browning style operation. But it is still affected by extra weight on the barrel.

My Trident-9 won't cycle on the Beretta without a booster. Others have reportedly been able to get that gun/can combo to work, but they typically have to go to lighter mainspring and recoil spring. Since I've got the booster, I just shoot it that way and leave the springs alone.

Also, you don't gain much with the 3-lug adapter on your pistol. You still have a thread-on interface that you need to worry about coming loose (the adapter to the barrel). You can't permanently attach the 3-lug adapter, or you'll never get the barrel out of the slide when you disassemble. Personally, I'd just switch out the piston / spacer when switching guns. But that's just me.

Really appreciate your reply. Was thinking of using blue locite on the last couple threads to keep the tri-lug secured. Could break it free when needed for cleaning, or tilt the barrel out of the slide and run a brush through the barrel with the tri-lug attached. However it's a mute point if the gun won't cycle....
Was also considering a CZ 75 SP-01, assuming I can find aTB for it.

Garrett, what setup are you using in you Beretta/Trident? Did you thread the existing barrel, or buy a after market TB? With the booster, are you able to use the factory recoil spring? Does the guide rod interfere writhe the suppressor/piston?
Thanks,

I bought a factory barrel from Gemtech, which they had threaded. It came with the locking block and a thread protector.

Springs on the gun are stock, and the gun runs fine that way, with a booster on the can. No interference with the guide rod, but it's fairly close. The booster is a small enough diameter that the rod goes under it.
