Sig P229/220 with Osprey????

I have an Osprey coming in 45 cal. I was thinking about using this also on a 229. Anyone suppress a 229 with any luck? Pros and cons? I know its a 45 can but would probably only use subsonic 9mm if I can find or reload. Cycling issues? Is Sig 220 a good Host for this can?

I don't have a 229 but I have a 228 I shoot suppressed. Wet or dry I catch more grit in the face with the Sig than I get from my Glock, dunno if it's a design issue but the Sig rarely leaves the house. I've already decided not to pursue a threaded barrel for my 226 because of it.
