Tall sights for a few M&P handguns and threaded barrels

Post by catalyst686 »

First post, this looks like the place to be. I've been searching for at least an hour for suppressor height sights for an M&P pro and a M&P standard service model in 9mm and am not able to come up with much. I'm not too picky with what I need, standard black sights would do just fine. I'm planning on giving a few places a call in the morning to get a little more info. The can I'll be using will be a Gemtec GM9, I'll be demoing many other suppressors as well so I'd like to get tall sights. I've learned a lot of people are getting their slides cut to accept Glock sights, I would rather not have to do that. I've looked at storm lake barrels, it looks like Brownells has both the threaded barrel I need for the guns. Any recommendation are greatly appreciated, thanks a lot for the help!

Get the black barrel, the stainless one looks terrible.
Proper grammar is awesome.

Check with Smith & Wesson, they just came out with a suppressor ready M&P, so sights may be available separately.
You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.

If they do, hopefully they'll sell the parts. They wouldn't sell me a threaded barrel, told me I had to buy they entire kit to get one (pistol included).
Proper grammar is awesome.

They said they do runs of threaded barrels for the full size MP9, he said they had no ETA on doing them again.

They won't sell the tall sights. He said they make tall sights for the core but the dovetail is a different cut compared to the other M&P guns.
