What is the best cleaner for the Glock
I am looking for something that is good for removing residue from shooting jacketed rounds and also some good lube. Any ideas?[/code]
I don't know what works "best", but I clean my GLOCK after every shooting session (between 100 and 200 rounds at a time) with ordinary WD-40, a nylon brush, and paper towels.
I have heard that WD-40 is not the best since it leaves a film behind which can 'attract' dust. However, there are two important points on my own end which prevent me from tossing the WD-40, and that is that I thoroughly, thoroughly wipe excess spray off so that if a film is left behind, it is so sparse as to be irrelevant. Second, even after wiping off the excess, I still store my gun in a case far away from dust.
I would not use WD-40 if you carry your gun with you, or if you rely on it for life-and-death situations. Aside from that it works just fine with a minimal amount of elbow-grease to get your gun shiney and keep it functional.

I read that it's douche to list your guns here, so I stopped that.
not sure about anything specifically for a glock, but i use this stuff on all my guns:

I use this stuff on everything... from pistols, to some pretty expensive shotguns. it is worth noting, that i don't simply use this stuff as a 1-step cleaner and lube as it is advertised. it works well as a cleaner, but on most of the guns i'll throw on some additional lube. for that, i've found militec works best:

just my $.02

I am the weapon, my firearm is merely one of my tools.

Slip 2000
Their lube last for a long time and works in any conditions. Great for rifles and shotguns.
Carbon Killer is strong enough it will eat the bluing of parts if they are left in too long.
725 removes all the oil and fouling and leaves the parts dry.
The real plus is all the Slip 2000 products are non-toxic & biodegradable.
If you like a drier lube that does not collect lint, use Machine Gunner's Lube. Great for concealed carry guns.

You're just a step away from a Darwin Award.
Do you like lead particles and the such with your food?
Dishwashers are for dishes.
A wee bit of elbow grease and GUN CLEANERS are all that's needed.
