I just cancelled mine from HK.. I was #1 on the list .. but over 6 months is BS ... !

What will it take to get you to produce barrels for the HK P30L and P30, threaded for suppressors, and with a fast twist (1:8, 1:9) for use with subsonics? Thank you.

This is exactly the responce I got a day later:

We have the P30 on our 2011 development plan. If you would like to have your name added to the waiting list, we can contact you when the option becomes available.

If I get really desperate, I'm going to buy some blanks from Lothar-Walther and find a gunsmith. I don't want an extension either.

Yup already picked one up and had it threaded. Sounds pretty good with a tirant 9 on it.

i think i'm just gonna have to add a p30 to my collection, i dont wanna do an extension on my current p30l

hopefully hk will release some threaded barrels like they did with the hk45 series

If you guys are still looking for a source of P30 and P30L threaded barrels check out IGB barrels (Austria), they are sold through MDW guns here: http://www.mdwguns.com/IGB.html

They look gtg but there isn't a whole lot of info on HK specific barrels. I've seen some reviews of their glock barrels which seem to be favorable. $275 shipped plus $17 if you want the cool CIP proof marks (eagle over N). Seems pretty sweet if the barrels are gtg. They appear to be instock or very short delivery times. They also do caliber changes so if you have a p30 in .40 you could get a .357 sig barrel or a 9mm barrel.

any update on threaded barrels for the P30 9mm?

I just emailed Mr. Webber @ hkparts yesterday. I asked him if P30L barrels would be available any time soon. He says that he expects to have them for sale in approximately 90 days in both 9mm and .40, as well as both American and German made. Didn't specify companies, but the American and German threaded P30L barrels should be going for *approximately* 250 and 400 respectively. I think I'll be treating myself to the latter, sure beats buying a USP tactical! There's a waiting list...
