ive got a glock 21sf with a LWD threaded barrel for an SWR HEMS II (atf wait) with a 3.5lb trigger, ismi 21lbs recoild spring and ismi steel guide rod. ive also got a glock 30 with a LWD threaded barrel for a gemcrap SOS ($250+stamp not too bad i think on price) 3.5 trigger. looking for new guide rod and springs. my first glock was the 17 early 3rd gen, i traded it for a beretta 92fs brigadier. i worked at a gun range so my range time was free and my ammo was discount but i put around 220,000-250,000 rounds through my 17 in 6 years time and never had a problem with the gun. i decided that i wanted a larger caliber and bought a glock 23 with a 357sig barrel with it. ended up selling it to a buddy of mine that needed a gun when he moved from washington to south central, CA.
in short, i agree, there is no better pistol out there than a glock IMHO. they shoot when the trigger is pulled, as long as you are accurate the gun will be accurate. they are light, durable, rugged, high mag capacity and the options/accessories for them could be endless. its not a bad thing to be obsessed with something so perfect

You sir, are my Hero.
I only have a 3rd gen G17L and 3rd gen G19. Absolutely love em'
A Gen 1 17, serial number starts with CX, that's right, I said CX...never had an issue with it cycling, extracting or ejecting. It has an internal (factory) upgrade kit in it and a Hart recoil reducer that replaces the factory guide rod.
It's the only Glock I own right now and it had been a duty weapon for about six years before my agency went to G22's and 23's.
A consistently reliable weapon and I have zero complaints.
