Thread adaptor for P22, who makes a good one?

Post by Eagle1* »

looking for info reference the thread adaptor that I need to attach to the barrel that has the 1/2 x 28 threads for my Element. Which company makes a good one, I see that AAC/SWR/Major Mal has them but the prices are all over the place. Thanks for your help... E1... :?

I have the Tactical Innovations and SWR. I like the SWR more.
If it doesn't splatter, shatter, burst or explode, it's not worth shooting.

The treads are closer to .500 and I don't worry about it unthreading as much. Not to mention, it's nice to support a company who has exceptional CS.

I went with the AAC adaptor, seeing as I also went with the Element I figured that the company that makes the suppressor would make a great thread adaptor to go with it and I was right, I've had no problems with it.

I would go with the AAC with the Element. I bought a Tactical Innovations adaptor for my Sig Mosquito, and it was was visually out of spec, though I never had a baffle strike, I also didn't use it long before going to an SWR adaptor which was perfect. I think AAC would similarly be better than the competition. That said I hate any adaptor and won't buy another gun or suppressor that needs one.

Silencerco makes a nice P22 adapter. Dont own one, but Ive handled it a couple times on a friend's P22 that he uses a 22Sparrow on.
