Glock LE pricing

Post by cyclone72 »

Does anyone here know of what a dealer should charge a law enforcement officer for a G21 in the Glock LE program?
I got charged by a local dealer 535 for a G21 but I think I got ripped. Some charge about 389 for G23's and 17's. Im just curious because I have seen G21's sell for 511.00 to anyone.

There will most likely be a little mark up for the FFL fee, but that is what you could get it for if it is sent to your depertment.

No mark up at GT's on Glocks. The listed price on their website + tax is the LE price that you get when you go in and buy in person. From what I understand Glock is very strict about dealers selling LE Glocks over what they have set as the LE discounted price.

It's not an LE program gun unless it has a blue info sticker on the handle of the pistol case. Standard and compact frames get three mags and sub-compacts get two. If it comes with three mags and a white sticker it is not an LE program gun and the dealer is just giving you pricing and another mag. I have also seen a dealer charge the LE price for a white sticker gun with only two mags.

They have a store here in Austin, TX and I think they are the only authorized LE Glock dealer in Austin.

OK I am totally confused now.

I bought my G35 from one of the larger GSSF/LEO dealers. I see the GSSF price is $507.00 but that is fixed sights, I was told adjustable sights are $20 more..OK fair enough. Just noticed that the tag on my gun which states Adj sights and has the correct serial number shows $507.00 but I was charged $527.

Is GSSF and LEO pricing the same? Maybe the LEO price is $20 less and that's where the difference is? Now that I see the tag at $507.00 and it states adj. sights on it I would think $507 would be the price again unless it's the LEO only price.

The 35's dont come with fixed sights, they all come with adjustable sights. Basically it sounds like they got an extra $20 out of you.

Many of the other guns that are not 34/35/24 or 17L are fixed sights with an upcharge to to adjustables. Now that they have gone away with adjustables on everything but the four models I listed - it's moot. They probably just forgot.
