Like this?

I wouldn't recommend it for serious (duty) use, but it's great for the range.
I've got Honey Badger Fever.

BladeTech can make you one. I know they have a mold for my Glock 22/M3X w/ AWC suppressor. Give em a call.

I would think kydex would be the best choice. Just my opinion. I have a friend working on an idea.

As someone answered this question for me earlier in the year: Crye Precision had one at SHOT called a "gun clip". But they've yet to make it available on their website or in their catalog. I called them in May asking about it, and the lady on the phone sounded like I was bothering her during fingernail painting time, and that it would be released later this year. I'm thinking about trying my hand at making one from Kydex for my Glock 19 w/ Trident-9.
