Buying a MkIII SS with the intent of selling the upper...

Post by GTFord1 »

For those of you who have done this, which one should I get? The question being, which kind / length of upper is the easiest to sell, in your opinion? I'm just curious if it's worth spending more to get a bull barrel one, or if I should just buy the cheapest tapered one I can find. I'm just wondering if there's really much of a market for any of the uppers. Obviously, I'm looking to get a Pac Lite for one.

Thanks.

In theory. They just kind of trickle onto the market though, don't they? That might leave me looking for quite some time. Mind you I don't want a 22/45 lower, either. I want a stainless MkIII lower.

Also check http://http://www.gunpartscorp.com they sometimes (rarely from what I've heard several times), have MkII frames (regular and 22/45) in stock. For the regular frames, they've got both blued and stainless listed.

Paclite I believe works with either MkII or MkIII.
