It's been in the works for a few years. They were announced in Germany long ago before they were re-released back in the US. As far as I am aware, SHOT11 was the debut for the re-release in the US.

I have one on order. 8)

I have put a lot of rounds through an original -6, and it is the finest production pistol I could ever imagine. This is really a huge deal. I hope the new ones live up to their name.

Definitely a dream gun for me. Wish I had $2,000 laying around. I had the chance to shoot one once and instantly fell in love. I got that warm and fuzzy feeling big time. And this was before I was really even into guns.
