I spent some time in upstate NY a while back. ADK's are breathtaking, but the state politics were abhorrent. Sure, I'll pay some of the highest taxes in the country that go to an irresponsible state assembly, downstate gutter trash, and pro-lib lobbyists that demonize me in the process. IMHO, The 5 boroughs should become a federal district so the state actually has a chance of survival. Rochester & Buffalo are a big enough ankle weight in and of themselves. We should tell the natives we want our glass beads back.
