I don't know the man personally but I enjoyed his posts so I hope for the best.

I saw him at SAR on Friday. We were both at the Huntertown arms dealer area looking at the RPD silencer. We did not acknowledge each other but it was him for sure.
People with Diomed's apparent characteristics don't typically go on 20 day benders.
He has either intentionally unplugged from the grid, and someone somewhere, is aware and has contact options, or he is in a tenuous situation.
Those are the two high confidence likelihoods.
Those that are close to him will be able to narrow the focus on possibilities in either scenario.
No matter the whats and wheres, my SSNcN and I remain positive in our thoughts relative the eventualities.
What amount of a man is composed of his own collection of experiences... and the conclusions that those experiences have allowed him to "know" for certain as "Truth"? :Ick
Flagstaff PD just called asking about any of Andy's email addresses. I'm pretty sure I've never emailed Andy. Anybody with this info should call detective Martinet in the Flagstaff PD.
There was a pretty decent storm that moved through there shortly afterwards. They won't find anything from the air even if he was visible before the storm. I put out a couple feelers to some SAR friends I know that operate up there. If they have any info or Ideas I'll let you know. It's not hard to get lost in N. AZ. either by choice or by chance.

QFT. For a first time Ohioan newby to the Arizona desert... that mountain "a few miles off" was like... a full day on an enduro bike.. and a little closer... still SO FAR AWAY.
The 90 degree desert day can become SOOO cold at night. And as a note... don't camp in a dry creek bed. That rumbling sound in the distance isn't just a remote sound that has no bearing on the ruin your day s--t that's about to happen. I can verify that. Jeeesh sometimes I wonder how I've lived to be as old as I am.

It's not difficult to get lost intentionally in the four corners region. With the weather up there being what it is, it seems like we should be hoping for this being intentional.
I just saw this on Uzitalk. Don't know if it's valid or not...
"Latest update as of Friday from our club bulletin board: The car was found by a hunter, parked and locked, and there was no sign of criminal activity or anything else to explain what happened or where he might have gone. No further word since then; there were search teams with dogs out looking for him or some sign of where he might have gone, but they had to stop due to heavy snowfall.
Andy is a very nice guy and is the chairman of the Class 3 Committee at our club (Rivanna Rifle and Pistol in Charlottesville, VA). Everyone is still hoping he's safe somewhere and, like piratesover40 suggested, that maybe he just wanted to walk away and start a new life.
If there are any further updates I'll post them here."

My SSNcN believes that D decided to leave the matrix intentionally.
