My buddy has burial detail

He is going to carry George Sakato to his final rest. Look up PVT Sakato, and stand in awe.

I took the time to look him up. Your budy has been given a great honor, Pvt Sakato is truly an American hero.

The only people who showed were family, the Japanese Consul General, and hs state rep. The French Secretary of State sent a letter. No federal politicians went.

We live in the shadow of such men ... and are blessed to have had them amongst us when the need was most dire.

Interesting that the Japanese Consul General attended but none of our federal politicians. Sad indeed ...
