Liquor store shootout in Tulsa

Post by poikilotrm »

As you will readily observe in this video, neither one of these women works for the Broward County Florida's sheriff's office.

The daughter is cuter than a duck wearing a hat. Shame on her for not having a round chambered. Also, she took a shot when overpenetration could have led to her hitting her mother, so, bad girl. Also, the mother failed to empty the weapon before letting him get within arm's reach, so, bad mommy.

The fact that he was up and running around, his hands and face a delightful ruby color, is proof that mag dumping to an empty chamber in CQB should always be a range drill, and practiced IRL.

This video is a strong argument against revolvers, since multiple hits were inadequate. He should have been holier than swiss cheese within the first ten seconds of engagement. The most times I have ever seen anyone shot and still lucid was 16. A patient took 16 rounds of 9mm ball, had 32 visible puncture wounds, two in the scrotum, and he was chatting away with everyone. Bullet construction matters.

Good for the girls in this video, but they need more range time and different weapons: https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_cont ... wiSl_zuSd4

For an "under the counter" gun, why would anyone choose a handgun that isn't a full frame double stack

Not everybody is a gun guy, and they have small hands. Ever have a girl tell you she is getting a new car, and when you ask what kind, she says "A yellow one!", or something similar? They don't think like we do, and that holds true across a wide variety of interests. I am willing to bet that they got those gun against the advice of the men in their lives, or they got them without seeking advice at all.

It doesn't matter. They prevailed. They held their ground and fought well. They have my admiration and respect.

The updates I see say Tyrone is in the hospital.

I haven't seen anything about injuries to the mother or daughter.

They could have been better prepared, the could have done better but they did good enough to stay alive and protect their property so it's a win.
