Got my ticket. Trump will be here in Johnson City.
Looking forward to it!

Congrats.

I'd be interested in hearing your first hand observations unwashed by the machine.

I doubt they'll do it, but if there is a Q&A, what might you ask him?

I'd love to be able to go. That's as close as he's ever been to my corner of SE KY.

Yes, please keep us posted.

I don't like the spin news programs have theses days so watching Trump at a rally is a real treat. We watch many of his news briefs and rally's every day.His bashing political opponents of either party is uplifting if not entertaining.Could it be that he loves this country and see's the mess the politico's have made of it. I would love to go to a rally but living so close to the White House I'd might just stop in for a cup of coffee.Lets face it I'd have a better chance of getting in than if another man had the office.

I had to park about a mile and a half from Freedom Hall and got there around 4:45PM. When we got to Freedom Hall, the line to get in stretched about a mile down the road and around a turn. It was unbelievable.

For the record, I did a bad thing. My son and I slipped into a group and essentially cut into line. I believe in Karma and will pay for it, but I knew that there was no way to get in from the end of the line. So I did something that I am ashamed of doing.

As it was, we made it through security and they directed us off to a lower entrance. Having never been there before, I had no idea of where we were going. It ended up being a gymnasium/cafeteria that is part of the complex. There was a big screen TV in there and an area cordoned off up front. We managed to get about 8 people back from the fence that was up there. Before going out to the rally, Trump came in to a screeching roar of the crowd. It was deafening. The fact that he came in to see us and speak to us for a few minutes meant a lot. We screamed ourselves hoarse.

We left when he went to another meeting before the rally. Outside, there were another 20,000 thronging around out there. We listened to the start of the rally on the way home and I am watching it now.

The protestors were pretty well behaved. Typical liberal signs and such. There were some deserving of a beat down like the ones wearing shirts saying 8645. As I say, smile and be nice until the day comes to not be nice.

Peace all.

here are 2 videos from my phone. Of course cell phone audio isn't that great but the crowd noise was deafening.

I've been quite doubtful about Trump these days... I used to think that what the Democrats told about Russian collusion was just sore losers being sore losers and trying to throw crap at a wall to see how much of it will stick, but I've recently read this article according to which Trump's administration has "accidentally" created an ideal context for Russians to buy real estate in the USA and lower the taxes they pay to the bare minimum... Okay, on the outside, we're looking at sanctions, conflicts in Ukraine and Syria, and all of that jazz, but when you look deeper...

Hey striker, let’s pretend that it is all completely true. What’s worse, Rusdia peddling influence, or selling Tusdia huge amounts of enriched Uranium? Or killing our own people? Or tax fraud? Or having a fraudulent non-profit? Or being married to a rapist and intimidating accusers and witnesses to the rapes?

Shall I continue?

So sad that discussions around the President of the f'ing United States of America, a once-proud symbol recognized throughout most of the world as a shining example towards which one might legitimately aspire, now revolve around 'which is worse...'. Obviously Hillary Clinton is a goddamned basketcase. Obviously part of the so-called swamp which Trump was promising to drain. Oops, guess he likes the swamp. Actually he's been repopulating the swamp with his buddies and family. Corruption remains alive and well in DC. At this point what I'm most interested in asking is something like why the heck isn't there a mechanism in place to flush out a complete garbage, corrupt administration and replace it with some sort of standby coalition of Dems and Reps, as a sort of hold-the-tiller government until a proper election can be organized. I guess that would be undemocratic? But seriously, something like that should have been written into your Constitution. Trump's beyond just being an idiot, he's so massively and blatantly corrupt it isn't funny any more.

There is a mechanism. It is called the Second Amendment.

Which seems to be accomplishing diddly squat, in terms of rectifying an obviously broken administration. Being 'allowed' to cast a ballot every four years has proven an inadequate democrstic gesture, and not just in your country. Our own leadership has failed to follow through on almost all that they promised - and no, I did not vote for Trudeau Junior. Legalised weed doesn't count. That's just a pacification gesture. But seriously, you think that freedom of speech is going to help? Folks are saying whatever they want to say, whatever party they belong to, and the only ones who seem to be answerable are the few who get on the wrong side of the wrong SJW. Outside of MeToo not a lot seems vulnerable to the voices of the people.
