I just read them both, and they are very enjoyable. I reccomend them. Kurt Schlichter has a very easy style of prose.
I was at a local (Seattle) coffee shop today. The little cute hippie girl behind the counter saw People's Republic, and asked what it was about. I told her, "Remember what went down at Evergreen College about 18 months ago? Imagine a government like that, and it is composed of Oregon, Washington, California, and the New England states."
Her eyes got wide and she got sort of excited thinking about that.
Man, I love hippies. They are nothing but Eloi, waiting for the siren.

The moments I was censored was the moment that I won. That's twice, now. Thanks jwbaker, et al, for my victories.
