Kill Bill director robbed at home in LA, bet he guns up now

I'll bet Quentin Tarantino guns up after a home invasion robbery at his home in LA last Sunday (Director of the Kill Bill movies, Pulp Fiction, and Inglourious Basterds). Tarantino confronted the robbers and they quickly left, but with a bag of jewelry and loot. No mention that he was armed when he confronted the 2 robbers (if unarmed, it could have turned out bad for Tarantino).
What's the saying? a conservative is a leftist who has been robbed?
