Good to know. I haven't been carrying at the shoot previously because I thought it fell under the "Public Gathering" clause.

Ah the public gathering clause. It's great as it less a mass murderer shoot lot's of unarmed victims at the same time. Kinda like those other gun free "safe" zones.
Going a little more discrete here due to some of my opinions...
It is a firearms event, where paid attendees are allowed to shoot....you can carry there legally IMO....
