White House cancels Obama trip to Sikh temple over Muslim rumor concerns.
He'd have to wear a Turban, he probably has one he wears when alone or with the Mrs.

I heard about this, supposedly to visit the temple, anyone (including presidents) must wear a religious head covering of some sort.

Lest he be thought a muslim, he declined. Here's the funny part: they'll happily accept Christian head coverings.

Now guess which religion of peace won't allow you to wear the head covering of another religion...


I ain't gonna say he's a muslim, but he sure seems to walk like a duck sometimes.

We had a Sihk run in the primaries in Illinois several years ago (http://www.ilsenate.com/candidate.asp?ID=3). I received a mailing from his campaign and my wife and kids were sure that I'd go off about "Muslims this" or "Muslims that" but they didn't read the flyer to see that he was a Sihk. I ended up voting for him because he didn't hide his religion even though most people would see the turban and think "Muslim!"
