Notice the Dr. note says if he shaves on a regular basis, far as I can see he only shaved once.

It was a Bic razor. I tried one of those ONCE.

It was so insanely inferior to a Gillette that it was not funny. You would have to pay me at least $17 to try shaving with one again.

I shave with disposable bics/gilettes all the time.
I see no real difference.

Pseudofolliculitis barbae is not joke, but I have seen it abused in the military.

Common sense would dictate that one with "barber's itch" should not pursue a position that requires he shave.
