Mr. Moore is quite wealthy, but I have yet to receive a check from him.

But let's apply his thinking. Take everyone's money and divide it up evenly. Forbid that money from changing hands, ever, as that would result in an uneven distribution of wealth. The same goes for physical possessions. When in doubt, cut the object in pieces. I mean, a whole neighborhood each owning a piece of a car is better than one of them owning a car that functions and can provide carpooling, right?

If someone goes on a Casino gambling cruise and blows their entire Katrina government money, then do they get to re-dip their hands in my pocket? I mean, they are poor once again. How does this scheme work anyway? Is it a one-time redistribution, or does everyone direct-deposit their money into the government which then redistributes as it sees fit?

What if all the money was handled that way - given to the government, then redistributed. If I don't spend my re-given money and it just sits in the bank, is my higher wealth, relative to my neighbor, subject me to a further redistribution? Is it at any time that someone has more it must be removed?

Even if that did happen, and I'm not so confident as to say that it wouldn't, the wealthy people would just get wealthy again. Look at Trump... fabulously wealthy, then went broke, then went back to being wealthy. We need to find a way to cripple Trump's ability to make money, because the wealth he has accumulated is merely the symptom - we should deal with the cause and make his money-saavy ass stupid. Make him take stupid pills or something. You know what I'm saying?

As mentioned already, Moore has more wealth than me, and I have yet to receive a Nickel of his funds. Maybe he just doesn't know my address?

Why is it always a hollywood elitist loon that speaks of redistribution but yet they continue to cruise around in the life of luxury.
When are we going to stop the madness and just break up what was America into parts (like the Soviets did)

I really hope that some upstart Conservative activist-filmmaker will start hounding Moore, in the tradition of "Roger and Me".

Follow him around everywhere, stalk him, make a little mocu-mentary about Moore's wealth, use a bunch of Moore quotes.

He's setting himslef up beautifully. Talk about low hanging fruit....

I'd love to see that happen, it would teach him to keep his mouth shut.

What happened to the day when everyone worked for what they got- or supported their own family when they needed the financial help?

Most of that particular crowd will greedily mock children who get an inheritance from their rich parents- whether it be oil money- whatever. Yet they demand that they be given a chunk of this same money and start calling you an evil racist if you don't want to donate to their charity of indiscretion or submit to redistribution. When I have kids, I will be happy to provide for them if they absolutely can't help it or have no way to bring in money. They will be mine- whether related by blood or adopted. I don't see the justice in making someone finance another person or class of people who choose to have more children than they can afford. What if everyone just had more babies than they could afford and demanded that those evil racist rich people finance their unrestrained fornication? By another name, isn't this slavery?

Lets do some Math here.

The CEO of BP made $6 million in 2009. BP employed about 80,000 in 2009.

So, when the workers rise up and eat the rich they each will get an extra.......$75. So, that will buy a nice dinner, what are they gonna do tomorrow?
