Electronic Hearing Protection

Post by D9M9TR9S »

Myself and some friends are looking to get some, any suggestions on a particular brand? I prefer something slim enough not too bulky, but don't want the quality to suffer. I know its kind of weird asking on a Silencer site, but I get most of my info here so I figure why not...

I have a pair of MSA Sordin Supreme Pro X's. I really like them. I hear the Peltor Comtacs are good as well. I prefer these over the Howard Leights by about 10:1

have had 2 pair of $65 Peltor's, both have had one ear crap out
- went with Howard Light's $50 & like them much better, 2 batteries (not 4), auto shut off (Peltor always got knocked on and batteries died), and walkie-talkie jack port.

meh ... just linking for info, no chastization ... maybe a little judgment

I think my feedback is in one of those threads somewhere.

I used google search anyway, I hate the forum search.

MSA sordins pro-x w/ gel earcups are very nice but pricey. Mine have had no issues ever.

I also have a pair of MSA Sordin Supreme Pro X's with the gel cups. They are pretty good. I wear them weekly for gun games.

I don't think they are 5x better than the Leight Impact Sport, but they are better at 5x the cost. I keep the Leight in a range box and had to use them last week, and they seemed pretty solid. Ear cups are a tad small for my average ears.
