Netflix Streaming recomendations

Post by TROOPER »

Its tedious to read a whole movie, but if you can handle that;

"Old Boy". Definitely an awesome screw-job of a movie set in Korea.
"The Man from Nowhere". Classic revenge, ratcheted up a notch and set in Korea.
"I Saw the Devil". Revenge movie... kind of... also set in Korea.

Wanted; please provide me additional fantastic movies for Netflix streaming. I like "action movies".

You should try and read about Chinese movies, I just finished reading about what one was about and wound up shaking my head trying to clear it, it was so screwed up, face meet palm. :?

Ip Man was great. Good story, great kung fu. Going to watch Ip Man 2 next.

My biggest problem with Kung Fu, is that it's always about my technique vs. your technique. I wonder if that was really how it was. People not really having anything to do but beat each other up.

The class struggle is also interesting to see. They never go into how the "master" class get all their money or stature. They always have servants, huge houses, and want for nothing.

Watching "Chaser", yet another Korean whack movie.

I loved Ip Man. I liked Ip Man 2 as well, but between the two, the first one was better.

Google "ZMA dreams". ZMA is just Zinc, Magnesium, Aspertame/B6. You take it on an empty stomach before bed, and you'll have crazy-ass, lucid dreams. You can buy it at GNC or any other sort of "sports supplement store". Watch these nutty Korean films and then pop some ZMA and you have freaky dreams all night. AND, you remember them very well when you wake up. Its great.

ZMA is supposed to boost the production of testosterone.

The idea was that body-builders had different dietary requirements as opposed to the standard FDA recommended daily allowance for each of the minerals and vitamins. In particular, some sort of independent research identified that in order to maximize growth without a "vitamin/mineral bottleneck" -- whereby your growth chain is weakened by this one link --, a person attempting to gain lots of muscular weight would need to increase their intake of Zinc, Magnesium, and Aspartate/B6. Thus, ZMA was born to address the special requirements of bodybuilders.

If you think you're getting enough Zinc, Magneisum, and Aspertate through your multivitamin, you are wrong. For example, if you take Zinc and Calcium at the same time, then your body cannot absorb the Zinc. This seems ludicrous because if that was true, then why would One-A-Day-Centrum and similar products advertise it? Well I promise you its true, taking Zinc in a multivitamin that also contains Calcium does ZERO for you. its one a few BS stunts that multivitamins pull.

Anyway, I believe the Magnesium is what is giving you the lucid dream, and honestly, recreational sleeping has never been so awesome.

FYI, stay away from "Sucker Punch". Its borderline retarded.

Funny, I just watched "I Saw the Devil" and "The Man from Nowhere" and was about to start watching "Old Boy".

"IP Man" - freakin' awesome, especially since it is based on a true story.
"IP Man 2" - wasn't as good as the first but worth watching
"Chocolate" - good action flick, starts out slow but the fighting is good especially in the end.

"Old Boy" is all kinds of weird-and-good.

I'll look into Chocolate. If its a winner, then that will be exactly the hidden gem that this thread was meant to uncover.
