Going to be in the market for a wedding cake serving set in the near future and would find it really cool if I could get my grubby little paws on a nice set made of Damascus.
Anyone have any tips on where to look?

Re: Wedding Cake Set
If it's for a gift... make sure the recipients know that damascus can and will rust if it's not reasonably maintained.
If they throw the cake set in a drawer for years at a time they may get the set out one day only to find that it rusts.
Especially in humid areas. Just something to think about as cake sets propably aren't going to be handled too much.
Might be a good idea to include a small gift bottle of some sort of protectant/lube.
Just make sure that if it's going to a newlywed couple, they know the lube is FOR THE KNIFE

Damascus can be had in carbon and stainless in many different patterns. There is even two different versions of titanium damascus. I have never seen a blade made of the Timascus because it cannot be hardened, but a cake knife does not need to be hardened.
