Any of you guys ever "Creeped" a little bit?
There is a particular examiner who is a HOTTIE.
I wonder if they know that they are mini-celebrities on forums like this and in the NFA community in general?
I knew if I was an examiner I would lose my job as soon as it took the higher ups to figure out I was charging applicants an extra $100 per Form 1/3/4 for guaranteed 1 month approval.

Re: BATF Examiner's Facebook pages
Holy s--t I completely forgot about this thread.
You guys must be old, boring, and non-drinkers.
You can't tell me you've never sat around with some buddies on facebook and looked up random people? Local news anchors, weatherwomen, politicians?
Its not stalking, its the 21st Century equivalent of looking someone up in the phone book. Settle down folks.
Stalking would include sending messages, phone calls, etc. Would I be stalking if I looked at one of your forum profiles?
And "creeping" is a perfectly acceptable, non-stalking term used by the current generation to search other people's facebook pages.
Stop giving an innocent idea negative connotations

Your post was designed to do exactly that, make your "innocent" post have negative connotations.Eurodriver wrote: Stop giving an innocent idea negative connotations
Irregardless the fact that you said you posted this just to rile people up! How would an innocent post rile someone up?
Is this place turning into ARFCOM?

Re: BATF Examiner's Facebook pages
Maybe not "officially", and maybe it isn't used how it should be by its word structure, I'd say enough people use it that it's a word.silencertalk wrote:Irregardless is not a word.
(By word structure it should mean the opposite of regardless, but most people use it as if it were synonymous with regardless.)
And before anyone starts crying about a threadjack, keep in mind that this is MUCH more important than the OP anyway.

Irregardless - Lets not forget to consider the fact or Lets not forget to take into account
Perfect threadjack, now we are talking about something important.

Re: BATF Examiner's Facebook pages
I had to laugh when I read these last few posts. I susbsrcibe to the word of the day... and Tuesday's word was "regardless."
I proceeded to read all of the information about the word and found this:
I use the word "irregardless" FREQUENTLY. Guess that makes me "not greatly preferred."
I proceeded to read all of the information about the word and found this:
"Regardless" is rather simply derived from the noun "regard" (meaning "attention" or "concern") plus "-less" — nothing too shocking about that. But poor "regardless" became embroiled in a usage scandal through no fault of its own when people began using "irregardless" as its synonym (probably blending "irrespective" and "regardless"). "Irregardless" originated in dialectal American speech in the early 20th century, and usage commentators have been decrying it since the 1920s, often declaring "there is no such word." "Irregardless" does exist, of course, but it tends to be used primarily in speech and it is still considered nonstandard. "Regardless" is greatly preferred.
