I know Pink Floyd. I have heard of Marvin Gaye but hate what I know. Never heard of Dwight. Heard of Guns and Roses but not sure of what song they are known for.

1986-2012 is a pretty wide range, but I listed to recorded music, never broadcast music. It was mostly Beatles for me. Did Beatles count as Pop music in the 1960s? Or if the music is too high quality does it not get classified as Pop?
