Not quite so handy that one. I'll stick with my Jetboil, but that could be good for car camping.

True outdoorsman would have used a fire pit and rocks and not pans bought from Wal-Mart. FAIL! :lol:

Thats pretty creative, I like it. Tasty lookin' grub too!

My favorite adventure of all time is backpacking all day and catching fish (Cutthroat Trout) in the high mountain lakes and cooking them up over an open fire.

Pretty creative idea when you stop to think about it.

I assume the last photo is a tank of water being heated for showering - good use of the additional energy after cooking...

Maser, aren't you a city dweller? One could argue a true outdoorsman would cook on the blade of his E-Tool, but then again, I don't believe a literal translation of the title was intended...

Put a chain around the log and use a maul to split it...much easier than using a chain saw IMO.
