Another Specwar 762 Question

Post by HK91 »

I have a SWR Specwar 762 that I am waiting for the ATF Form 4 to be approved. The suppressor is coming with a 5/8 X 24 flash hider mount for my 300 Blackout. I already got a 1/2 X 28 flash hider mount for my 5.56 AR-15. I saw some old references to an HK-91 mount being in design.

My question is does Silencerco/SWR make a mount, either flash hider or muzzle brake, for an HK-91?

If made, what is the stock number/SKU?

How does the Specwar 762 work with a stock HK-91 and NATO spec ammo?

Thanks,

The SWR Specwar 762 needs a proprietary fast attach mount, I think SWR makes a mount that is designed for the HK-91, but I have not seen one yet. I would not want to use an adapter and then put a mount on to the adapter due to tolerance stacking.

We are working on Flash hider/ brake options that will work with your 91. I have been told they should be ready by the end of March. As far as performance goes it will do great.

Thanks for the update Andrew.

Unfortunately for me, I submitted my ATF Form 4 in July 2013, about 2-3 weeks before ATF eForms came online. So I doubt I will get the suppressor before you guys get the HK-91 flash hider mount for the Specwar 762 out. So I am in no rush.

Thanks for the heads up. I will get with local dealer and have him order me one of the M15X1 RH Specwar Trifecta Flash Hiders.

Also on a happy note, the local dealer got my F4 in from ATF on Friday, I picked up my Specwar 7.62 suppressor and took it out to shoot on Sunday using my 300 Blackout AR-15. I was very impressed, sounded about like a nail gun going off with sub-sonic ammo, except I could hear the bullet hit the target backer and then the berm 50 yards beyond.

Gentlemen,

Just ordered a 15x1 Right hand Specwar mount from the link you posted for my HK91. The invoice states this is a 556 15x1 RH for the HK G36. Will this work for a 7.62x51 HK91 or not? Please advise.

Thanks,

-Bone
