Ruger 1022

Post by Delasangre4231 »

So my friend bought a Ruger 1022 and I think his has the factory flash hider. So I was wondering if I put in my fixed barrel spacer could I run my Octane 9 on his rifle?

Aslong as the barrel is threaded then yes

Yep sure can. Use a high quality spacer though, one that's actually threaded, not the cheap ones that just slip on. Both gemtech and silencerco spacers are threaded.

And do the eyeball test first before shooting. Look down the bore with the can attached and look for any misalignments.

The Octane with a 1/2x28 piston and a fixed barrel spacer will work fine on the 10/22. If it is something you plan on doing often I would recommend a fixed thread mount as it will simplify the system and generally lock everything up a little easier.
