300 BLK barrel with Specwar 762

Post by RANS0M »

Is the 8.2" Noveske 300BLK barrel safe to use with the 762 Specwar? If not, is there a barrel that can be recommended?

You will be fine with that barrel length. We rate and warranty the Specwar 762 for .300blk and 5.56 down to a 7" barrel, 6.8SPC with an 8" barrel, and .308 with a 12" barrel.

My concern is not the barrel length, but its the following statement that concerns me:

"In the development of this barrel, we found evidence that the suppressor may require a symmetrical baffle stack as found in the AAC Cyclone K, 762-SDN6, and Surefire 762K suppressor. Suppressors which cause off axis turbulence, such as those with K type baffles, may cause baffle strikes and/or point of impact shift, and may damage your suppressor. Noveske Rifleworks LLC will not be responsible for damage or injury under ANY circumstances. Consult you suppressor manufacturer to determine if your suppressor is suitable for this application."

Thanks in advance!

Yep. Like, where are you gonna find enough 300blk ammo to make a trip to the range worth it.

Just started a 300blk build myself using a Noveske 8.2" barrel. I plan on using my Octane9 (Subs only) until I can purchase a Saker762.
