I was watching a video with Gary from Silencerco at the 2012 Shot Show, and in the video he demonstrates how to install the Trifecta MAAD Mount onto the Saker.
In the video there is a "jam nut", that he tightens after snugging the mount to the suppressor. I noticed that the new Saker doesn't have that jam nut. Did Silencerco do away with this jam nut?

The jam nut is on all the maad mounts. It's the locking ring which you tighten to secure onto the saker body.
Re: Jam Nut on Saker
The area on the mount does not move when you tighten it to the suppressor. The MAAD mount shown in the below video looks to have an additional piece (locking ring/ratchet) that you tighten after you snug the mount to the suppressor. The Trifecta mount being sold on the Silencerco website does not have this additional piece (locking ring) on it. See the below video at the 2:50 mark...

Re: Jam Nut on Saker
That was an old design that we didn't end up using.
