Correct timing of Trifecta flash hider?

Post by eastern_hunter »

What is the "correct" orientation of the slots for a trifecta flash hider ... a slot directly up or directly down?

Doesn't matter. There's no orientation or timing needed for the FH. However it ends up when torqued down is fine.

It does not matter, but I used an extra shim to time my flash hider so the slot was up. I figured that put the solid fork down and it might kick up less dirt if I shoot prone without the suppressor. I have not tried shooting prone without my SPECWAR 7.62 since I got it, so can't confirm if it makes a difference.
