Saker end cap question

I just picked up my saker 762 today. I have what I thought was a 556 flash hider end cap that I bought at a local shop. Well, the hole in the 556 FH end cap is the same size as the hole in the standard 762 end cap that came with the saker. I think I somehow got a 762 FH end cap, even though it says 556 on the package. I can fit an entire 300 blk cartridge through both of them. I asked this question on another forum and one person treated me like an idiot, anyone who has both 556 and 762 end caps please straighten me out. Thanks.

I'm guessing you got a mis-labled cap.

They both should produce the same suppression level.

You have the wrong part. I got both endcap sizes. A 300 BLK bullet definitely does not fit through a 556 endcap hole.

THANK YOU SO FUCKIN MUCH!! That was all I wanted. So I guess being able to fit an entire round thru it means it ain't no 556 end cap.

Sco more than likely will exchange it for the correct one or just send you the correct one

Nah, I'm fine with the one I got. Was prolly gonna pick one up at some point anyways. I'll just get a different 556 end cap and keep this one.

556 end cap ID is .300"
762 end cap ID is .376"
