Trident Metric Piston Only 1.33 turns to mount?

Post by jt526 »

I've got my trident mounted to a factory sig threaded barrel on a p228, and it threads on 1 and a third rotations. Is this sufficient grab? It shoots fine (dear god is it quiet).

Just checking, thanks for the info

I was planning on setting up my Sig P226 with the factory threaded Sig barrel for the Trident from Topgun. Should I reconsider that barrel choice? Will I have to send it in for fitting?

No. Factory threaded barrel is ALWAYS the best and correct choice.

Great. I picked up the barrel today from my dealer (TG was out of stock) and started the paperwork on my Trident. Thanks.

Sheriff just signed papers for my Trident today! I have a factory 226 barrel waiting @ the dealer as we speak. The wait begins!

I have a 226 with tb from topgun supply takes several turns to seat solid. no issues with barrel or suppressor was 100% from the go. It is also a badass set-up btw, 1st pop a little louder but then it basically sounds like a wood bat popping a baseball. No discomfort, no ringing ears, no coming loose, NO regrets at all. I also have a Spectre and can tell all first hand customer service is #1 with SWR.
