Am interested in the possibility of using an Octane-9 on a fixed barrel subgun and a SIG P229. Would prefer to use a 3 lug on the subgun and the 1/2x28 factory threads on the P229 barrel (yes mine really does have those threads).
I this possible with the Octane-9 as it is with the Trident-9?
If so and assuming the Octane-9 original purchase is to fit the P229, what is the additional cost for the fittings required to do the 3 lug on the subgun?
Thanks!
Mounting flexibility of the Octane-9

Apparently you didn't like my response to your previous questions as it hit on all these points except price.eastern_hunter wrote:Am interested in the possibility of using an Octane-9 on a fixed barrel subgun and a SIG P229. If you go to www.swrmfg.com and look under pistol suppressors you will find the OCTANE-9 page, there it tells you the capabilities of it.
The Octane-9 can come with whatever mount you want it to, generally it will come with either the LCD or 3Lug. They are selling them just like the Trident is sold(from what I was told).
Major-Malfunction will have the absolute best prices for this stuff, hit him up on this forum or from his website. Guarantee the prices are going to be almost impossible to beat.

Re: Mounting flexibility of the Octane-9
Thank you for your patience with the new guy.
I did read the vendor profile on the can, and it was not obvious that one could change out the mounting. Am still learning to read these things I fear. Thought this forum area might be frequented by reps from SWR and they would be most knowledgeable indeed.
I do believe that my monies for the year are now pretty well earmarked ... for the Octane-9 and the AAC M4-2000. Now let's see how long it takes me to accumulate the cash and how many side trips intervene along the way!
Again, my thanks for your patience.

Any word on an UZI mount?
I keep forgetting it so I'll leave it here for others as well: NFA 304-616-4500

SWR is not planning on offering an Uzi mount for the Octane 9 at this time.angelbeast6 wrote:Any word on an UZI mount?
