Octane-9 and the 300 BLK???

Post by eastern_hunter »

I saw the previous post on ratings for the Octane-9. Did not understand the answer.

Is the Octane-9 HD going to be safely useable with subsonic 240 gr projectile loads for the 300 BLK?

Sure would appreciate the information!

Any recommendations for mating the Octane-9 HD to a 5/8x24 threaded barrel? Can has been ordered with 3 lug and 1/2x28 adapter.

Sorry ... badly phrased ... where can I buy an adapter? Don't want to change the threads on the barrel.

Really do appreciate the advise!!! Thank you.

I am pretty sure we have 5/8 x 24 mounts planned for it.

I had asked this question of M3 and he said that he was going to ask SWR...anyway I am here so, is the Octane-9 (HD if that matters) ok for 300blk use -subsonic and/or non-subsonic?

My 9mm gets really hot shooting 300 subs. If you have a 308 can, I'd use that.

Is there a limit to barrel length? I would like to use my soon to be Octane HD on a 10.5" barrel.
