So.... am I the first to ask.... If I take a 3 prong mount and cut the two of the prongs down to different levels, did I just fix my ringing problem on that mount? Or is there more to it?

I think Emilio said in another post that he was going to try it. Worst case, he'll just chop all of them back down to a common height again.
